Street Artist (Paint the Change)

We are a London-based news and production company with a portfolio of projects that promote freedom of expression, human rights and social justice. Over the next two years, with partners in Greece and Serbia, we will be delivering a project to engage young, difficult to reach audiences with street art and promote diversity, inclusion and tolerance. The project will develop a curriculum as well as produce a set of prominent street art pieces and a documentary film.

Scope of work

The Street Artist (Paint the Change) will execute a large-scale public mural in London as part of this project in Spring/Summer 2020. The subject matter of the mural will be developed in collaboration with 20-30 young participants, aged between 12-18, who will take part in a series of workshops led by an Arts Facilitator. As part of these workshops participants will explore themes of tolerance, diversity and inclusion through art. The Street Artist will be required to lead some workshops, with the assistance of the Arts Educator, to help participants explore the work and world of street artists and how art can be used as a tool for constructive self-expression and community building.

The Street Artist will be retained as a freelancer for the course of this project.
