Arts Facilitator (Paint the Change)
We are a London-based news and production company with a portfolio of projects that promote freedom of expression, human rights and social justice. Over the next two years, with partners in Greece and Serbia, we will be delivering a project to engage young, difficult to reach audiences with street art and promote diversity, inclusion and tolerance. The project will develop a curriculum as well as produce a set of prominent street art pieces and a documentary film.
Scope of work
The Arts Facilitator (Paint the Change) will deliver an educational programme to 20-30 young participants (aged between 12-18) developed by us, through a series of workshops in Spring/Summer 2020. The programme will explore local issues and matters of tolerance, diversity, discrimination and inclusion through art. The Arts Facilitator will be expected to guide participants to express themselves and apply their capacities to creative and artistic solutions to issues of social cohesion. The ultimate product of the workshops will be the development of subject matter for a large-scale public mural that will be executed by a selected Street Artist.
The Arts Facilitator will be retained as a freelancer for the course of this project.
